Intimacy is the secret of all things, and in that intimacy, we are blessed by the Lord. Intimacy is not looking at oneself. Intimacy is not introspection. Intimacy is allowing ourselves to be seen by Him. Intimacy is seeing that He is watching us. It is letting ourselves be looked at by Him, not looking at ourselves or focusing on our problems. If we enter into Christ and silence the noises of the soul, we will be able to perceive His gaze upon us. And, upon leaving that encounter, the Father will reward us publicly.
