When you converted to Christ, He came to live in your spirit, and now He wants to grow from there to fill your soul and body. The Father desires for your whole being to be filled with Christ. The central command, the operational center of Christ, is the spirit. And the spirit is hidden, covered by the soul and the body. The spirit is like the Most Holy Place: there is no human light, for only Christ is there. Your task is, then, to exercise your spirit. If you do not, it will be weak, and you will be a dim, dry, inconsistent, cyclical, passive Christian. All the problems we have arise because our spirit is not exercised. That is why, through these pages, we will learn to strengthen it. We need to have a spirit of power, love, and self-control, a truly strong spirit.
